About Internet Security and Your  Privacy

Web Ordering Is Safer Than Stores

You should be aware that ANYTIME you use your credit card, whether at a local store or restaurant or over the phone, the potential is there for someone to take and use your credit card number.

The Internet, with 10's of millions of messages a day floating around, is about the least efficient way possible for a bad guy to get your credit card number, which is why you virtually never read about credit card scams where credit card numbers were gleaned from the Net and you frequently read about crooks getting credit numbers from physical stores and restaurants.
WarmYourBody.com has been taking orders via Email for over 2 years and and we have NEVER heard of a single instance in all of that time of any customer  having any credit card problems as a result of placing orders with us via email or the Web.

Your Data Is Not Shared With Others

WarmYourBody.com has never sold or shared any of our customer database with any other company and we never will. We give your credit card info to the credit card ompany. That's it.

Privacy Statement for WarmYourBody.com

WarmYourBody.com has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy.  The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website: WarmYourBody.com.
Your IP address is used to help identify you and your shopping cart.  Our site uses cookies to keep track of your shopping cart.  Our site's registration form requires users to give us contact information (like their name and email address).  Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below.  Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services. This site contains links to other sites.

WarmYourBody.com is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites.  Our site uses an order form for customers to request information, products, and services.  We collect visitor's contact information (like their email address).  Contact information from the order form is used to send orders to our customers.  The customer's contact information is used to get in touch with the visitor when necessary.  Nobody wants THEIR credit card number stolen and used by others, but some people resent any steps which Web merchants may take to PROTECT their credit card numbers.

We ask for one piece of information to help protect the security of your credit card number from being fraudulently used.  Your credit card billing address. If the billing address you give does not match what the credit card company has, we will not process the order. We will email you to ask you to double-check the billing address you gave against the billing address on one of your monthly credit card statements.

We realize that this can be an inconvenience, but please remember that if someone else were trying to use YOUR credit card number fraudulently, this is how we might be able to stop them.

We hope that this page has provided a satisfactory explanation of Web security and privacy.  While some of our measures may be seen by some as an inconvenience, unless and until Internet users as a whole are willing to allow some other means for Web merchants to positively identify credit card customers, we are doing only what we have to do to control fraud.
